Time seems to go so slow every day...and then I check the blog and realize it's been weeks since I last posted something. Not too much has happened since last month...at least not things that I'm in the mood to talk about.
On a good note however, Eric and I are thinking about moving this fall when our lease is up. We've been through so much this past year, and if we can both find jobs down in Florida, we'll be moving sometime around September/October. Nothing is set in stone, it's just something we're looking into. We've dealt with too many crappy people up here, and we're getting sick of all the drama and immaturity. Sometimes you need to start fresh, and after the past few months...I think it's definitely time for that. We need a break. We figured we could take the two years until his contract is up and have some fun...then settle back down into "real life."
Other than all that our life is pretty simple right now. We both go to work, come home, and go on about daily life. As I type this (at 5 am) he's walking around getting himself ready for drill and I can't help but notice how freakin cute he looks in that uniform. Unfortunately once he leaves I've got to get myself ready for the long day ahead...so I'm going to get the coffee pot started. It's gonna be working overtime today.

Update #4
A lot has happened since my last post in July. I'll start with happy things because I don't want this to be a total downer.
We moved out of Willoughby and into an apartment in Mentor. We moved in with my best friend Brittany and her daughter (my god daughter) Josilyn. Things are going really well, and we've been here since October. It's a one year lease, and then we'll be looking for a house for the 4 of us to live in. We would have this time around, but didn't really have enough time because we needed to move quickly. We still have our 3 cats, Gizmo, Lily, and Cici.
Our honeymoon went beautifully. It was good weather almost the entire time, and we had a blast. We met another young couple that we were sat with at dinner, and spent a lot of the evenings on the boat with them. We spent days on the islands swimming, tanning, shopping, and exploring...and we even got to walk around the hotel Atlantis which was absolutely gorgeous. I took hundreds of pictures, and I wish we could go back. It was an amazing time just spending it with each other, and I couldn't have asked for a better honeymoon with the man I love.
We still don't have any word as for Eric's transfer, we're hoping that it will happen sooner than when his contract is up...but if it doesn't, we have a good situation going on for us here. It's great to be able to spend all this time with Brittany and watch Josie grow up. It'll be hard to leave them when we do get stationed. We're hoping to know more this summer after he goes through his few weeks of training. Eric may attempt to go Air Force again once he has the chance to transfer...it will all just depend on the requirements at that point in time.
Eric just got a new job at Wal-Mart doing loss prevention, and I'm working as a nanny. I watch 3 boys during the week...twin 5 year olds and a 2 year old. The family I work for is amazingly good to me, and it's a secure job until Eric does have the chance to go active. Eric's also had some trainings recently with the Guard and has some more this summer. We're supposed to go to some marriage retreats this spring and summer provided by the military, and I'm actually really excited to get away for awhile just the two of us. I'm at Mentor High School coaching the mock trial team, and they'll be going to competition February 4th. Wish them luck!
Now I have news that isn't what I'd hoped to update. We found out December 6th that we were pregnant with what we thought was our miracle baby (given all the problems I've had and the doctor's thoughts that I may not be able to have children). I carried the baby to almost 9 weeks, but yesterday when I went for my biweekly checkup...they weren't able to find a heartbeat. The doctor saw that the baby had stopped developing, so I had surgery last night to remove the baby. My doctor is sending the baby to a pathologist to attempt and figure out what was wrong and see if it's something that can be fixed in the future. We're not sure when we'll be attempting to have children at this point because this is all very new.
My 20th birthday is in 2 days, and I'm hoping for a bit of a new start. Losing the baby was the hardest thing Eric and I have had to go through, and I know it's going to take quite some time to heal mentally and physically. I'm lucky to have such an amazing husband and family that have all jumped to try and help.

Update #3
Yet again it's been another month since I've updated anything. Life has pretty much taken over. Work...work...and work...for Eric and I.
We do have a little bit of news though. Well two things to be exact. One...we booked our honeymoon finally! We'll leave for our honeymoon on September 6th (I think), and we're going on a 4 day cruise to the Bahamas. Can't wait!!!
Other thing...we're parents...again. We have 3 new additions to the family. Yes...3. Their names are Cici (for Crazy Cat), Mittens, and Jill. However Jill's name may be changing in a week or two. It was cute because we had the adult cat Jack...(Jack...Jill...yea) but he's moving out this week with Haily and Jared, so we may have to reevaluate.
I've decided it seems to be the year of weddings. Coming up this month a couple in Eric's unit will be tying the knot, our old roommates Haily and Jared will on September 3rd, Karmen and Chris (Eric's brother) should be coming up soon, Melanie and Kevin next May, and Kyria and Jed were married at the courthouse last month (but there may be a big wedding also in the next year). Oh and Danielle and Chuck were married earlier this year. It's a good year :)
Anyways that's really it. Sorry we're not more exciting people! No news from the guard yet as to when he'll get his transfer. Prayers that it happens soon!

Update #2
Ok well I figured it's been over a month since the last update, so although not much at all has changed...I'd attempt to give some more information. We are still waiting on the guard to sign Eric's conditional release form, and until then there's not much of anything we can do. It's hard to plan anything when you don't know where you're going to be in 6 months. Heck...even in 4 months. Hopefully we'll hear something soon! Besides that the kittens are getting bigger! I still don't like it...they're my babies.
Things have been pretty crazy, but there's not much else going on other than work and house stuff. Eric's 2 week training is coming up, and Karmen and I are heading to Key West while he's gone. Eric and I are trying to plan some trips to see family in the next few months. Texas and Nevada are on the list!
That's pretty much it for now :)

Update #1
Well I write this at 2 o'clock in the morning with a kitten on my lap because my darling husband is currently at drill for the entire weekend. Anyways I thought I would do a little mini update on some of the big news that's in the making.
First of all (make sure you're sitting down before reading this)...we're gonna be PARENTS! Haha. Kidding! Kinda. We adopted little kittens! They're not really *little* anymore, but they still seem little to me, not to mention I refuse to accept that they will ever grow up. Cute little fun fact...their estimated birthday from the humane society is mine and Eric's anniversary (of dating that is). Anyways their names are Lily and Gizmo and they've basically taken over our home lives.
Eric's still working at Avery Dennison doing security, and I'm at AT&T in downtown Cleveland. We finally work similar shifts so we actually get to see each other for more than an hour each day.
Now for our real update. Eric and I have been talking a lot about where we're going to go from here. I know I'm going back to school, but he's decided that he wants to go active military. His first choice was Air Force, second was Navy. The Air Force rejected one of his tattoos, so it's looking like the Navy for us! We're hoping that he'll get his 368 form (conditional release) signed this weekend so that we can really get the ball rolling on this whole thing. In that case he will be swearing in with the Navy within 10 days, and then we'll just be waiting to find out when he goes to tech school. He won't have to redo boot camp, just around 8 weeks of specialized schooling for his MOS.
I know he's excited and while I'm nervous for taking this big of a step, I'm starting to get excited too (not to mention how I just about burst with pride every time he talks about going). We can get away and experience things together, while I finish school and he makes his final determinations as to what he wants to do for the rest of his life. I guess only time will tell! This is a huge step and we've made a lot of big decisions lately in a short time, but we're absolutely ready for it.
Now. I'm going to bed...but I'll be sure to keep everyone updated as often as I can. Night!

We did it!!!
Ok I know this post is delayed by like 3 weeks, but give me a break I'm a newlywed! As you probably already know, Eric and I officially tied the knot on May 1st, 2010. We had the ceremony and reception at the Outdoor Family Center in Perry, with the ceremony being outside in the outdoor chapel, and the reception inside the lodge.
The day was absolutely insane...and I only know a small part of what went on. Despite the constant threat of rain (including the downpour on the way to the chapel), the absolute disaster of an updo I had done, and a very hungry pregnant bridesmaid...we managed to pull it all together and had the PERFECT day. The rain stopped right as the ceremony started, my girlfriends saved the day and somehow kept me from passing out, and my in laws made the entire place look absolutely gorgeous. I can honestly say there is nothing else I could have asked for...everything came together better than I could have possibly imagined.
It was amazing that so many people were able to come and spend our day with us. There are so many people that I have to thank for their help, their time, and their patience. There isn't enough room for all the people that deserve recognition in this one blog. My mom came in from Philadelphia, many family members came in from the Cleveland area, Melanie came all the way from North Carolina...it really surprised us how many people were able to make it.
There are over a thousand pictures between the professional photographer, my camera that was floating around, and all our friends and family who were snapping away. We also have the first dance, parts of the ceremony, etc. all on tape and will share them once I find the time to upload them.
I can't even begin to explain how happy we are that we decided to take this step now, and how appreciative we are of all the support we recieved. We are officially two lives, two hearts, two families, combined into one.
We'll keep you updated! (Well...I will).
